Sunrise...in Second Life

I had a picture some months ago, which was post processed, which was one of the coolest pictures in my album of Second Life at that time. That picture was taken with the "depth" setting in the SL viewer. Now I had the chance to make a similar picture, but without rework. With the Windlight viewer I got almost the same effect, even better.

Looker, do you see the pixelation on your picture? Those figures are called Avatar Imposters. They don't move smoothly and they look like that.

You can fix that by going into your preferences and selecting "Custom" settings on your graphics. You can tell SL not to use Avatar Imposters. (It will slow down your computer a bit.)

Wonderful picture, though. Keep up the outstanding work.

Thank you Sho for the hint and the comment, I will check that out immediately.
I even tried to take higher resolution pictures, but than I get vertical black stripes in the picture.
Perhaps my graphic card isn't the best one, that could be an explanation.
If you should know what the reason could be of these vertical stripes, I would be happy to hear from you, as I always read on other blogs about high resolution pics, but I never can take one on my own.;(
